Fauna - Rewilding Project

This piece is a component of MAHE’s Rewilding initiative website, focusing specifically on the Fauna section. The overarching goal is to raise awareness about indigenous species and the rich diversity of birds that inhabit the campus. By encouraging individuals to notice their surroundings and foster understanding and appreciation for local wildlife, this project aims to promote ecological consciousness.

Within the larger frame of Web Design, the project utilises coding to seamlessly integrate images and information into an accessible database. This database serves as a valuable resource for users, enabling them to identify and learn about various bird species and their ecological significance. Whether encountering a bird or plant on campus, individuals can easily reference the database to deepen their understanding of the local ecosystem.

Through this interactive platform, the project endeavors to encourage individuals to engage with nature in a meaningful way, fostering a sense of connection and responsibility towards the environment. By facilitating knowledge exchange and promoting observation and recognition of indigenous fauna, the project contributes to the broader goal of fostering a culture of environmental awareness and conservation.
