Prussian Blue

For this project, I tried to combine and correlate stories from these two perspectives, to create a collective narrative about Prussian Blue. I created a series of 20 monochromatic paintings in Prussian Blue, along with a running narrative, to achieve this multidimensionality. The paintings complement my narrative by drawing attention and conveying a sense of understanding beyond words. If the narration can provide a cognitive understanding of the story, then the paintings can provide an intuitive understanding of the whole narrative. I expect this to leave the audience with a better sense of understanding, as there are multiple perspectives involved in the storytelling and my intention is to make them all individually impactful – my target is not just multidimensionality of outputs, but also a multidimensional understanding of the larger topic.
