Flood of Chaos

The underlying concept was to illustrate the mountains of Himachal Pradesh and the detrimental effects of rising tourist numbers. The goal was to create an artefact that showcases the layers of the mountain ranges. The zine is designed in a way that corresponds to these layers and reveals how the mountains appear pristine and beautiful from the outside, but as we turn the pages, the hidden reality begins to emerge.

The artefact is created via mixed mediums like watercolour paper, chiffon fabric, brush pens, watercolours and acrylic paint. Clay has also been used to give an earthy texture along with pieces of plastic.
