The driving force behind my creative practice is to explore the cross-section of different mediums to foster a multidimensional engagement with myself and the community around me. My work serves as evidence for the idea that different mediums can be incredibly potent tools for connection and awareness. My journey as a creative practitioner has been one of continuous exploration and discovery. It began with a fascination for the different ways in which various forms of expression could intersect and influence each other. Over time, my practice has evolved into a comprehensive approach that seeks to engage audiences on multiple levels, surmounting traditional boundaries to create impactful experiences. The connection between what I create and why I create is rooted in a desire to address fundamental human experiences. My work is designed to be accessible, inviting participants to embark on a journey of self-discovery and making potential connections with the community. My work "GeoQuest" transforms education into an engaging adventure, blending storytelling and strategy to teach geography. Similarly, "Narrative Finding Framework" uncovers community stories, fostering identity and belonging. Finally, the "Stress Art Collective" uses interactive art to visualise stress, promoting technology interactions for reflection and stress management. Through these projects, I seek to challenge conventional boundaries and explore the potential of mixed media to create meaningful dialogue and connection. As a part of the larger exhibit, my work aims to question the existing notions and it is an explorative journey full of uncertain thoughts and ideas. It is through these creative endeavours that I hope to inspire introspection, empathy and a greater sense of awareness in our increasingly interconnected world.
The line of inquiry aims to look into different approaches that incorporate elements from different mediums that can create a form of engagement with self and community around us. The projects under it like geoquest aim to create an interactive learning envt. by helping students engage in board game that provides effective education through engagement with various elements of the game. The narrative finding framework project aims to help a person to find stories of communities around him thus promoting a sense of engaging with self to engage with community. Meanwhile, the Stress Art Collective raises awareness about stress management through interactive artwork, using visual and auditory stimuli to prompt reflection on personal stress experiences and coping mechanisms. The art form creates visual patterns and designs on screen when any audio is detected in the surrounding. Thus, supporting engagement with art piece to understand the stress context within self. These projects illustrate how combining different mediums can effectively engage individuals with themselves and the world around them.
